Description
The 23-0-23 (46V center-tapped) 440V Sensing Transformer is a specialized component used primarily in industrial electrical systems. Its main job is to “step down” a high voltage (440V) to a low voltage (23V) so that an electronic circuit can monitor it safely.
Here is where it is typically installed:
1. Servo Voltage Stabilizers (AVR)
This is the most common application.
- Location: Inside the control unit of a 3-Phase Servo Stabilizer.
- Function: It is connected across two phases (440V) to monitor the input or output voltage. It sends a sample voltage to the Microcontroller or PCB, which then decides whether to rotate the motor to increase or decrease the voltage
