Description
Common Applications
Old Desktop PC SMPS: Used in the power supply units of older computers for voltage regulation.
LED TV & Monitor Power Boards: Found on the main power PCB to ensure a steady DC supply.
1. Audio Amplifiers and Home Theaters
High-capacity capacitors are essential for stable power, which results in heavy bass and clear sound quality.
Sound Systems: In 2.1 or 5.1 home theater systems, when the subwoofer hits a deep bass note, it requires a sudden burst of power. This capacitor supplies that energy instantly so the sound doesn’t distort or “crack.”
Car Audio Amplifiers: It protects the car’s audio system from voltage fluctuations and power drops.
2. Voltage Stabilizers and Inverters
Stabilizers: Used for voltage control in older manual or automatic household stabilizers.
Inverters: Used for filtering purposes during the process of converting Battery DC into AC power.
3. Industrial Machines and DIY Projects
Motor Drivers: Used in small machinery or robotics to handle the current surge that occurs when a motor starts.
Battery Chargers: Found in heavy-duty chargers used for large batteries (like 12V or 24V systems).
Important Precautions:
Polarity (+/-): One side is negative (marked with a stripe). It must always be installed in the correct orientation; otherwise, it may explode.
Voltage Limit: The rated limit is 35V. It is recommended to use it in circuits operating between 25V–30V. If you exceed 35V, the capacitor will fail or get damaged.
