A Simple Example of How it Works
Imagine you have a 1450VA inverter installed in your home to run your fans, lights, and a laptop. The DSP card performs the following roles:
- Instant Switching: The moment the main power grid fails, the DSP card senses the blackout within milliseconds and switches your home load to battery power so your computer doesn’t shut down.
- Safe Power (Pure Sine Wave): It ensures the electricity coming out of the battery is “clean” (Pure Sine Wave), just like the grid. This prevents your fans from making a “humming” noise and keeps your sensitive electronics safe.
- Smart Charging: When the power returns, the card calculates how much the battery has drained. It then charges the battery at the optimal speed and stops automatically when full to prevent the battery from swelling or getting damaged.
- Overload Protection: If you try to run too many appliances (like a heavy iron or heater) that exceed 1450VA, the DSP card will sense the extra load and shut down the inverter safely to prevent it from catching fire.
