Description
Â
1. Audio Amplifiers (Most Common Uses)
Â
Large speakers or DJ amplifiers require a sudden surge of power when the bass is playing.
Â
Function: This capacitor stores electricity and supplies it immediately when the speaker needs power. This prevents the sound from being choppy and reduces the “humming” sound.
Â
2. Inverters and Stabilizers
Â
It is used to “smooth” the voltage in home inverters.
Function: This capacitor eliminates the slight ripple that occurs during AC to DC conversion, providing a clean DC supply.
Â
3. Industrial Machines and SMPS
Â
This 100V rated capacitor provides protection in control boards of large machines where power is flowing from 24V to 72V.
Â
Function: Even if there is a slight voltage surge (surge) from behind, due to its 100V rating, it does not burst quickly and protects the circuit.
