V-Guard Prime 1100va Control Card is the “brain” of the inverter, responsible for managing power conversion, battery health, and safety protections. It utilizes a Digital Signal Controller (DSC) to ensure high-speed processing and a stable power output.
Key Technical Features
- DSC-Based Design: Unlike older analog cards, this uses a Digital Signal Controller (often 32-bit in the “Smart” variants) to manage the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). This results in a Pure Sine Wave output, making it safe for sensitive electronics like LED TVs, routers, and laptops.
- Adaptive Charging (Battery Gravity Builder): The card manages multi-stage charging. It includes a “Battery Gravity Builder” feature that prevents overcharging and deep discharge, effectively extending the physical life of the battery.
- Dual Mode Operation: The control card allows for a UPS Mode (narrow voltage range for computers, <10ms transfer time) and a Normal Mode (wider voltage range for general appliances).
