Description
In the Luminous Shakti Charge inverter series, the Microcontroller IC acts as the “Brain” of the device. It is a programmable chip that manages and monitors every operation within the inverter.
Here is a simple example of how it works:
Core Function: “Smart Switching”
Imagine the power (Mains) in your house suddenly goes out. In that split second, the IC performs the following actions:
Sensing: The IC immediately detects that the grid power has stopped.
Battery Mode: It instantly switches the system to draw power from the battery and converts it into AC electricity so your lights and fans keep running.
Protection: If you put too much load on the inverter, the IC triggers the “Overload” signal and shuts down the system to prevent any internal damage.
Other Important Tasks of the IC:
Battery Charging Control: When the power returns, the IC decides how fast the battery should be charged based on its current level to ensure a long battery life.
Display Signals: It controls the LED indicators on the front panel (such as Low Battery, Charging, or Overload).
Wave Management: It ensures the electricity output is stable and smooth so that sensitive gadgets like LED TVs or laptops aren’t damaged.
