Description
- Technical Features (Based on Standard Livguard/Livfast Inverter PCBs)
- The PCB integrates the necessary circuitry to manage and protect the inverter system:
- Switching Element: Typically uses MOSFETs (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors) for efficient high-speed switching during the DC-to-AC conversion process.
- Microprocessor/Control Circuitry: It uses a microprocessor-based design for Smart Power Management, controlling:
- Battery charging profiles (ABCC Technology – Adaptive Battery Charging Control).
- Automatic Mains Sense (switching between grid power and battery power).
- Display management (for LCD/LED indicators).
- Protection Features: Essential safety circuits are integrated onto the PCB, including:
- Overload Protection: Shuts down the system if the connected load exceeds the 1500 VA limit, with an auto-reset feature.
- Deep Discharge Protection/Battery Low Cut-Off: Prevents the batteries from being excessively drained.
- Short-Circuit Protection.
- Thermal Protection: Prevents the PCB and transformer from overheating.
