​The V-Guard V.G800/NU-V2 is a specialized Microcontroller IC programmed specifically for V-Guard voltage stabilizers. It functions as the “brain” of the stabilizer.

​Primary Uses and Functions:

​Voltage Monitoring:

This IC constantly monitors the incoming power supply (Input Voltage). If the voltage becomes too low or too high, it instantly decides whether to cut off the output or switch the relays.

​Relay Switching:

The IC sends signals to the relays inside the stabilizer. When the voltage is low, it uses the relays to increase the voltage (Boost), and when the voltage is high, it decreases it (Buck).

​Time Delay Function:

In stabilizers used for ACs (Air Conditioners) and refrigerators, this IC maintains a 3-minute time delay. This is essential to protect the compressor from sudden electrical spikes or frequent restarts.

​High/Low Voltage Cut-off:

If the electricity drops below 90V or rises above 280V, the IC cuts off the output to prevent your expensive appliances (like ACs or TVs) from burning out.

​Display and Indication Control:

The IC also controls the numbers shown on the digital display and the indicator lights (Red/Green LEDs) on the front of the stabilizer.
