💡 Main Functions
This PCB controls the functioning of the entire inverter system. Its main functions are:
Controlling inverter operation: It controls the conversion of DC (Direct Current) battery power (12V) to AC (Alternating Current) output power (approximately 230V), which is used to run your home appliances.
Controlling battery charging: When mains power is available, this PCB controls the process of safely and efficiently charging the battery using grid AC power. This may include three-stage charging to prevent overcharging.
​Providing protection: It controls various protection mechanisms to protect the inverter and connected devices from conditions such as overload, short-circuit, over-temperature, and low-battery.
Mode control: It manages various operation modes such as UPS mode (for sensitive devices) and Eco mode (for power savings).
Indication/alarm: It controls LED indicators and alarms to inform the user about the inverter’s status, such as mains availability, battery charging, overload, and low-battery.
In essence, this PCB is the brain of the Luminous EcoWatt 1050 inverter, handling all the critical functions of the power backup system.
