Description
- The Amaron 650VA Home UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is used in an inverter.
This PCB is the brain of the inverter and performs the following important functions:
AC to DC Conversion (Charging): When mains power is available, this PCB converts the AC supply to DC to charge the battery.
DC to AC Conversion (Inverting): When mains power is cut off (power outage), this PCB converts the battery’s DC power to the 220V/230V AC power needed to run household appliances.
Protection and Control: It protects the inverter and battery from conditions such as overload, short circuit, over-charging, and deep discharge, and controls the function of the entire system.
Status Indication: The components on it ensure that the inverter is functioning properly and provide indications such as battery level and load status.
